Season’s Greetings from the Porter Family
We hope this note finds you and your family and friends looking forward to a festive holiday season!
All the 2008 wines have been pressed and are resting in barrels after a job well done. Despite the trials and tribulations the vines experienced this growing season we are extremely pleased with the resulting wines – we think this will be an outstanding vintage, though very limited in quantity. Most of the grapevines are now showing their fall colors and preparing for a long winter’s nap.
We are pleased to offer our “Perfect Pair” gift box as an option for gift-giving this season: one 750 mL bottle of 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon and one 750 mL bottle of 2005 Syrah in a lovely wooden box. The wooden box reflects our commitment to the environment and is crafted from trees grown in sustainably harvested forests. The Porter Family logo is wood-burned into the lid. This gift box is priced at $175 and includes ground shipping and handling. Both of these wines would pair perfectly with that Christmas ham, Hanukkah brisket, or New Year’s prime rib!
